Refund & Returns Policy
At Domino Mini Dachshunds, we are committed to placing happy, healthy puppies into loving homes. Due to the nature of live animals, we handle refunds and returns differently from typical product-based businesses. Please read our policy carefully before making a commitment.
🐾 Live Animal Sales Are Final
All puppy adoptions are final once a deposit or full payment has been made and the puppy has been collected or delivered. We do not offer refunds for change of mind or incompatibility after adoption.
✅ Health Guarantee
We take great care to ensure all our puppies are:
- Vet-checked
- Vaccinated
- Wormed
- Microchipped
- Socialized
Each puppy comes with a health guarantee for a limited time, covering any serious congenital or hereditary health issues as stated in your adoption agreement.
If a certified veterinarian diagnoses your puppy with a life-threatening, genetic condition within 14 days of adoption, you must:
- Notify us in writing immediately at dominominidachshunds@gmail.com
- Provide an official veterinary report (within 48 hours of diagnosis)
- Allow us to consult with our own vet (at our discretion)
In such rare cases, we may offer:
- A replacement puppy (if available), OR
- A partial or full refund (excluding non-refundable deposits and delivery costs) — at our discretion
We do not cover:
- Illnesses contracted after the puppy leaves our care (e.g., Parvovirus, injury, poisoning)
- Vet bills not pre-approved by us
- Issues arising from buyer negligence or improper care
💵 Deposits
All deposits are non-refundable, unless:
- We are unable to provide the puppy as agreed (e.g., due to unforeseen health or availability issues)
🚚 Delivery-Related Issues
We work with trusted pet transport partners. Once a puppy has been handed over for transport, we are not liable for delays or issues caused by third-party couriers. That said, we will always do our best to assist you in resolving any problems quickly and compassionately.
📬 Cancellations
If you cancel your adoption before pickup or delivery, any payments (excluding deposits) may be refunded only at our discretion, depending on the circumstances and notice period given.
